Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you all to the 8th CIRP Conference on Surface Integrity (CIRP-CSI 2026) which will be held in Yokohama, Japan between May 19th and 22nd, 2026.
The inaugural conference of CSI took place in 2012 in Bremen, Germany. Since then, the conference has been held in various international locations including Nottingham, UK (2014), Charlotte, USA (2016), Tianjin, China (2018), Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain (2020), Lyon, France (2022), and Bremen, Germany (2024).
CIRP-CSI 2026 is organized by CIRP members in Japan and sponsored by a number of manufacturing related academic societies, foundations, and companies. The conference venue is located at the Yokohama Bay Area which is one of the major tourist spots in east Japan. This area offers many facilities fun for both the conference participants and the accompanies, such as museums, amusement parks, gardens, gourmet spots, and the well-known China Town.
The upcoming CIRP-CSI 2026 will be an exciting forum for all researchers, engineers, and industrial professionals to discuss advancements of science and technology in Surface Integrity, a critical aspect influencing the quality, performance, and reliability of industrial products.
